Psalm 23 by Suzanne Peterson
The Lord is my shepherd, no more do I need. I rest in green meadows, then He takes the lead
and brings me to rivers that quench my thirst. Restored and refreshed, my weakness reversed.
He teaches and guides me and shows the best way to bless Him and honor His Name all day.
Even when I walk through the Valley of Death You're right there beside me, every step, every breath.
I won' t be afraid for Your rod and Your staff are right there to guide me and we'll have a good laugh
and right smack in front of my enemy's face is a feast you've prepared, and it's filled with Your grace.
You honor me, anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows, no more do I toil.
Your goodness and mercy come with me all day to the House of the Lord, where forever I'll stay.
